What is a ‘hamlet’?
Our Hamlets are boutique communities for those embracing a richer, simpler, more connected life - whether working, semi-retired, or retired.
We chose the word ‘hamlet’ because it speaks to something special: a small, close-knit community nestled within a larger whole. A place with its own character, yet deeply connected to its natural surroundings and the broader community in which it resides.
A Hamlet is not just somewhere to live, but somewhere to belong. Every detail is thoughtfully crafted for a life that feels a little more grounded, a little more joyful, and entirely your own.
Living amongst friends not a crowd
Traditional land lease communities are often sprawling and impersonal - hundreds of homes, little connection, and a sense that you’re just one in a crowd.
At Hamlet, our communities are purposefully small, just 50 to 100 homes. Meaning more familiar faces and meaningful connections.
We thoughtfully curate experiences that bring people together and honour what makes them unique; from book clubs to dog walking groups, wine tastings to hands-on workshops. Whether you're growing your own produce, launching a new venture, or simply learning something new, there's space for it here.
